easter.

Our Easter weekend was really nice.
Little fuss, and lots of family time.
And, I took lots of pictures. (It's what I do.)

On Saturday we had our egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Thomas'.
Piper had fallen asleep in the car on the way, and didn't wake up when I unbuckled her. So, I made everyone wait until she woke up, to start the hunt. Mean, I know. They got over it.

And it's not like there isn't anything to do on the farm. It's a FARM.
But, I was too busy holding sleepy P and enjoying the breeze and scenery to take pictures of the kids and the animals. (Jonas took this pic below. Not bad.)
After about, ahem, 45 minutes (maybe a few more) Piper woke up and was ready to go.

Putting eggs into a bucket, the perfect activity for our task oriented toddler.

After we collected eggs, the kids got to visit with Arrow. They've missed him! More than their mom, that's for sure.

When Piper found that her eggs had money in them, and after we told her that it was for HER, she said "Whoa! Whoa, whoa whoa." And then she hugged them like a baby.
More time with Arrow.
Sunday morning was a joke. Read: we are always running behind and in a hurry to get to church on time.
Why would Easter Sunday be any different?
I wanted to get a picture of the kids in their Easter best, but Piper wasn't in the mood...

After church we headed to the park to see the ducks, and enjoy the warm weather.
I managed a couple of pictures that turned out better than our front porch attempts. Victory!

We had our Bandley fam over for dinner, and Grammy and Papa sponsored an egg hunt in our back yard. My camera is on the fritz, and every single picture I took turn out BLACK. Every. single. one.
Boo.

I did manage a few on my iPhone, from the afternoon.
A few.
Piper is determined to get this hula hoop thing mastered.

Grammy and Ez.
This little nephew of mine is the most chill baby ever to live.
It's true.

Piper Lou and I have recently added a new activity to our bedtime routine. After she has a bath, we got outside on the back steps, and watch for birds.  She is obsessed, calls them "Twee-Tweets".
I love it.

Happy Easter!
