As I uploaded these pictures I realized a couple of things. A lot of my pictures are the same from week to week (month to month), and Piper's hair appears to never be combed. Hah! Probably because it usually isn't. Unless we go out.... little fuzz ball!
Such a happy napper these days. I heard her in her room after her nap, saying "moooooooooooooow. mooooooooooow." I walked in to find her playing with her kitty. She shoved it at me and "mowed". Cute girl.
Oh man. Sometimes I get to watch the cutest baby girl in the world, Emma. My cousin's little girl. Best. Doesn't even make me baby hungry, not at all:)
Piper loves her.
Always.
I took these three to school on an extra snowy day, and I couldn't help but snap a picture of them sitting together, waiting for class to start. Gosh, they act so grown up, laughing at each other's jokes and such.
This gal, always anxious to help me with everything. This weekend's project? Balance boards for E and J.
This picture was taken hours before Piper spent the night throwing up. She'd been clingy and quiet all day. I knew something was up, but enjoyed the snuggles none the less.
This is how we do Target.
Backward in the stroller, with brother Superman puffy vest on.
Don't ask.
Organizes and switches out her binks like a boss.
Ryan said it couldn't be done. A boy couldn't be raised with a love for reading.
Boy, am I proving him wrong.
This is what Jo's bed looks like every morning.
Piper has people to make Valentines for too, you know.
President's Day trip to the mall. Piper, backward in the stroller, as usual. And, fascinated by those "yight"(s) on the roof of the mall.
If the bathroom door gets left open, we find Piper just like this. She even knows how to turn the water on these days. Oh boy!
Our little Kewpie Doll.
Oh, these two.
She gives him a hug and then whaps him in the face. They both laugh.
Bah! She asked me to put her hoodie on like this, and then played with it on, all morning. She is hilarious.
Sigh. Baby acrobatics.
I got tired of the bathroom door being left open, so I got rid of the stool.
Didn't stop her.
Baggy onesie. Saggy hair.
I got to tag along with Jonas on his Kindergarten field trip to see the play, Rapunzel.
It was pretty fun to see Jonas in action with his friends. Kindergarteners are something entertaining for sure. The show was pretty good, too.
Jonas and cousin Owen, on the bus. They kept saying things like, "Hey look, it's Sonic. We've been there."
I through a baby shower for a friend, and I tried to keep Piper upstairs... but, she made her way down, and was the life of the party.
Always. I think we have a serious artist on our hands.
I'd like to pretend that I took this picture outside, laying on the grass (instead of the carpet in Ellie's room) and that it's the sun shining behind Ellie (instead of the ceiling fan light), and that it's Summer out (instead of 12 degrees and snowing).
Piper play.
For the love. I gave up. In case you were wondering, and taught her how to get down.
Buuut, as it turns out, she didn't really need a lesson in how to get down. She just popped the door open with her foot, and lowered herself down. Crazy monkey.
Piper's first "naughty coloring" job.
I used to judge those moms that had wild babies, who got into everything. Like, they're not paying attention or teaching their kids properly.
Bah! What a joke. How presumptuous and WRONG was I? Totally.
(Especially when older siblings come in to play, leaving stuff out and encouraging Piper because they think it's funny.)
Anyway. When I turned around to see that Piper had a pen in her hand while she was watching cartoons on my bed, I gasped. She jumped, threw the pen at me, and pulled her pant leg down to hide what she'd done. Sometimes I'm not sure she's only 14 months. Little stinker.
Piper begs to wear things like Jonas' hat and Ellie's socks. Occasionally I indulge her.
Ellie, giving Piper a horse ride.
More begging to wear sibling's clothing. Whatev. She really has an obsession with Jonas' jackets. (See Superman vest at Target picture earlier in this post. Haha.)
the end.

Oh my gosh-- the pics of her little toes grasping on the cabinet made my heart do a flip. Glad she has the strength to hold and and let herself down!
ReplyDeleteWhen did the bunk bed appear? How to Jonas and Ellie feel about it?
