Piper survived her one year (ahem, 15 month) well baby visit to the doctor, today. (What, we are BUSY and she's growing just fine.) To sum things up, she only screamed for 30 minutes this time, is sort of caught up on her immunizations, and when the doctor asked her if she wanted a sucker, she practically yelled, "Dah! Yesh!" between her heaping sobs.
Please bless she doesn't always hate clinics, or anything that represents a doctor's office, for the rest of her life.
She fell asleep in the car on the way to our appointment. I did my best to keep her asleep... even sneaked her pants off, in hopes they could stick her legs as she was sleeping... no deal. She stirred, saw where she was, and lost it.
Awesome.
Good thing those suckers make everything better, and super sticky.
Piper is an incredible little 15 month old. The doctor insisted "you sure she isn't two years old?".
Because her vocabulary is so out of control. I don't even write new words down anymore, I can't keep up!
Oh, and for EVERYONE (because literally everyone tell me this) who insist that Piper is my biggest one year old yet, she weighed in at a whopping 20lbs even (20%), and is a whole 29 inches tall (25%). Falling short of her sibs at one year old, by quite a bit.
